Our Lunches - Our Culture

Lunches prove to be a very solid bonding strategy for all staffs and students! To mark the coming end-of-second-term, we, Educators and admins, have had our staff lunch on the 10th July 2014. We have had Chinese menu - made by our staff cooks. The Chinese menu was great and all staffs helped to make it a success. Students commonly say 'encore' to our culture. They are so used to see us having these gatherings. For our students, such lunches also exist!! They are termed as class parties for the students. Theirs are usually held on the last day of school. They have it classwise and is especially representative of the end of exam day. ...

Music and Prize Giving day 2014

Mrs Li Ying humbly accepted to be our guest of honour for the ceremony. It was on 20th June 2014. We have had a nice and homely ceremony; since Mrs LiYing has shared the R4S kingdom for roughly 10 years of her years of service; she was dedicated both to her teaching profession and to give a helping hand to the administration. Her skill is as yet irreplaceable. Her speech was very inspiring to all of us. The highflyers were rewarded and others were encouraged to work harder so that next year they will be on stage. The cultural show, fashion show, dance, song, sketch were all fabulous! Lots of hidden talents in our school! ...

Hill Climbing

This activity has replaced our annual cross-country for the past 2 years. For this occasion, all members of the school have been on their toes to run/climb/walk up and down the Signal Mountain. Food and fun day

Food and fun day was organized with success on Thursday 03/04/14. Whether it be teachers, admin or students, we were all mobilized to help in the smooth running of the activity. Everyone contributed in kinds. Activities like application of mehendi, disco, tombola, dance battle, food cooking and food selling have all been organized on that day. Control of Lateness

THE LATENESS STAMP Our Ag. Rector, Mrs S Varma, and our School SuperIntendant, Mr Tossé, have come up with a very efficient strategy of controlling lateness, the LATENESS STAMP. Daily, all students who are late have to present their journals at the entrance door, to be stamped on the day they are late, as shown in the picture below (Lateness: Wednesday 21/08/13). This is, in addition to writing down their names in the lateness book. The lateness stamp is a way of informing the parents of the lateness of their daughters and of the need to check into the reason of their lateness.
